I read once the best way to make a friend is to be a friend. I’m looking to be that friend! I love to write, am currently working on a novel, and won first prize in a poetry contest by the Poetry Society of Texas in 1993. That was long ago, but I haven’t lost my passion for writing and have many poems to share with a good friend.
Writing is only part of who I am, though. I have a prison job that lets me ride horses and work cows, so I have plenty of cowboy stories to share as well. I plan to train horses and service dogs when I’m released in 2024 and will eventually run a working rehabilitation ranch. Over the years, I’ve learned that helping others develop a healthy self love as I have is my true purpose in life.
Are you looking for a friend with an understanding ear and sympathetic heart? I’m that man. Age, race, gender identification and sexual orientation are irrelevant. We are all human, each looking for someone else to recognize our humanity. Write me to start a friendship that could become a deep and lasting bond. I look forward to writing you back!
