There's this saying I used to hear a lot when I was younger, "Out of sight, out of mind." I heard it so much that it started to sound cliché. It wasn't until my incarceration that I realized how true this saying actually was. I had so many people telling me how much they love me, but in an instant it all changed. No more phone calls being accepted, and no more letters coming in the mail. It's now to the point that when they do "mail call" I stay in bed or continue to watch television, because I know receiving a letter from someone is highly unlikely.
I'm hoping things will change with me joining this pen pal site. I'm looking to build a lasting friendship, and hopefully I can start getting the little things that matter again, like cards on holidays and my birthday, or words of encouragement.
I also utilize my time by taking part in life skill programs. As of now, I'm in a class called Malachi Dads. It basically teaches us how to be better fathers to our children from in prison through biblical principles. I have three kids: one daughter and two sons.
If you made it this far, that means you're interested in getting to know me, so I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and give your attention to my profile. Feel free to write me via snail mail and / or JPay.com.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you...
