This or That

Hello to all. My name is Haskell Peak. My friends call me Pete. I created this profile in hope of connecting with old and / or new friends who can help me to adjust to what will be a new society that was taken sixteen years ago. So in order to achieve this hopeful connection, I am going to give all a brief introduction of my character.

Hobbies:

– I like to work out. I have the same regimen for over 30 years.
– I am a constant reader. My preferred books: philosophy, business, investments, non-fiction, history, law… I do not read novels or fiction. Then again, I do read and watch graphic novels. (Yes I still read comic books.) LOL
– I enjoy the finer things like restaurants, wine, champagne, and art.

Occupation:

Before my incarceration, I have training in many blue collar fields: electrical, plumbing, carpenter, brick mason, and truck driving (I a m a certified Class A truck driver). On a smaller note, I can strip and wax different types of floors and clean carpets. I am also a sports handicapper. However, my specialist is welding. People always ask me why do I like welding more than the other skilled work. I always respond with, “The things that we make with iron / steel look like fine art to me when the project is finished.”
