Hello everyone? My name is Christian Harang. I am joining Conpals in hopes of meeting down-to-earth people who share an open heart and mind in regards to my past and current mistakes; as well as meeting people that I can develop a bond and friendship with. Please excuse me if I am displaying too much too soon but I believe it’s only right to be open and honest – especially when wanting to meet new people (I feel all readers are entitled to know certain things about particular individuals they meet or would like to meet). I ask that all readers – if possible read my profile with deep consideration; I truly understand many may have a sense of discomfort while reading and for that I’m genuinely sorry; but please understand that I too, am at a discomfort by disclosing something that has taken me a while to overcome. Furthermore this may put me at a disadvantage with meeting the very type of people I’ve joined to meet. But as I’ve stated it’s only right that I be upfront and honest… 2007 I was incarcerated for having sex with a minor (I was 19, she was 15); at that time in my life I was wild and participating in things that obviously weren’t in my best interest or other’s around me (drinking, partying, and sex). It wasn’t my intention – honestly, it’s just something that happened while I was under the influence of alcohol. During the 8 year sentence that I received from that charge, I’ve developed a sense of responsibility to respect the wellbeing of others as well as myself; I’ve learned that despite the incident of being consensual – or despise me being drunk; people and their families were affected by my poor decision-making which led me to be more considerate in my decision-making… Well. Sadly to say, I discharged in 2015; with no plans or opportunities; being 28 years old with no job (with my prior, finding a job seemed impossible) was a burden on my patience and my pride so I started involving myself in crime to get money that seemed to get me by for a while until I was involved in an aggravated robbery charge which I’ve been facing since 2016 with a 20 year sentence (I am up for parole in 2026). Since I’ve been incarcerated on this charge; I’ve completed a course in “Financial Literacy” as well as a course in “Career Planning”. My goal is to patent my business ideas and sell them to ideal companies that can manufacture and launch my ideas. Another goal of mine is to organize a non-profit program that distributes clothing, food, and hygiene to the homeless and single mothers and fathers; as well as help with bills. I am very compassionate for people in less fortunate situations (having to adjust to or being brought up in poverty) because quite frankly, I’ve been there before and I’ve seen it consume people’s mental and emotional states. I am also spontaneous; at some point of the day I try to find a way to make an adventure out of it. Working out is a factor in my daily schedule; I take pride in my health and being able to challenge myself athletically. I’m looking forward to meeting positive, productive people with an open heart; people that are motivational, encouraging and supportive; people that will read my profile with understanding and compassion and would really like to get to know me and allow me to get to know them in return… To all who have read my profile all the way through; thank you dearly for your time and deep consideration. Hope to meet you.

Christian –

P.S.
When writing me, please be sure to use regular lined-paper (no colors nor decorative materials with paper or pens), TDC has a strict policy regarding mail… If you’d like corresponding with me to be a bit more convenient you can log on to TDCJ / JPay / mailing website which is similar to an email (TDC does not allow inmates too receive “third-party” emails).
