I’ve never been comfortable writing about myself, so please forgive my awkwardness. I’m in here for what my friends have called a “catastrophic error in judgement.” If you want to know the details, ask and I’ll weave you a story of sorrow that has forced me into this early retirement. My time in here is spent either working (clerk in facilities), reading (anything from self-help to philosophy to classic literature to Japanese light novels and manga), writing (mostly fantasy, some sci-fi and erotica), color pencil “painting” (you know those adult de-stress coloring books full of mandala patterns), and I’ve been trying to teach myself how to draw. I don’t watch much TV. I get my news mostly from NPR. I’m looking for friends to help me get through the next several years of this forced early retirement. Friends who wonder “Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon” or know that “Love is Hard for Otaku.” Friends who like to talk about various conspiracy theories and see how outrageous of a conspiracy theory they can come up with (are birds real?). Friends who will print out and send interesting articles from the Planetary Society or NASA websites about the latest in space exploration. Friends who wonder if Terry Goodkind and Robert Jordan were drinking buddies or attended the same writing workshops. Gender identity, sexual orientation, race, planet of origin, religion don’t matter to me. So all you trans, bi, Martian, followers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (or anyone else), you won’t find any judgment here. I will respond to all.
