Dear Special Friend,

First I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your life to view and read my profile. Hence, that’s why I titled my letter “Special Someone”, because not only does it take someone special to reach out to the incarcerated, but who’s willing to not judge me due to my current predicament that I face. However, I do not believe in coincidences and you deciding to view my page is for a reason. I only hope after you’ve read this, I’ve assured you that I made the right choice.

In the beginning of my plight, I blamed everyone besides myself. When I finally ran out of people to blame, I only had myself left. But this has been a blessing for me, I’ve been able to truly find myself to the best of my abilities. So if you can use a friend that puts loyalty and honesty first, someone that is far from judgmental. Race, weight, religion, etc. mean nothing to me as long as the heart is pure, I’m seeking true friendship.

“How Can You Know”

What can one say to someone who means so much; yet I can’t look into your eyes, you hear my voice; or feel my touch?

How can I express my feelings and devotion; when only my written word can express my emotions? How will you know that I miss you and think of you each and every day;

That that doesn’t only occur on any day! How can you possibly know that you’re my dream girl, that you’re everything that’s beautiful in my world?

How will you know that you always take my breath away;

Or that you will leave me speechless and I forgot everything I meant to say?

How will you positively know; that you own my heart, mind and soul?

I could dream these things until I lost my voice; but that wouldn’t work so it’s not a likely choice. So here I am once trying freely to express my friendship with paper and pen.
