The state of Texas has labeled me too dangerous to grant parole with denial after denial and the latest one stating “danger to the public” when I have ‘no’ violent crimes. This parole system is laughable and this place has broken the spirits of many but not me. I’ve been locked up a few years but my time hasn’t been wasted. I recently graduated college receiving dual associate degrees in business management and micro-computer applications. While here, I’ve been mastering computer programming with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3. I also spent two years getting my laptop technician certification in repairs. Guess you could call me a geek. I’ve been in prison for the last 20 years, and this has been one helluva ride for me. Another dream of mine is to oneday attend cosmetology school, and just live “normal” life.
