Hi Everyone, I want to start this with something eye catching so take a look at my picture and by the time you are done reading this you’ll be a fan. I am first and foremost looking for a friendship, in life without friends you have nothing. About me, well so much to say so little room, but I will say as far as my personality I am witty, savvy and have a great sense of humor. I grew up in the Midwest, Missouri and of course I am a KC Chiefs fan. I have two grown children whom, I have a great relationship with. I am a contractor prior to being incarcerated and I own my own business as well as consultant for many different side projects. I love cars and the outdoors, fishing, boating, and all water sports. My main focus is creating landscapes and hardscapes for yards and businesses. I get to spend a lot of time in the planning and implementing process keeping me super occupied. I’m ex -military, specifically M1-A2 Abrams tank operator. For that I have the discipline installed in me which helps me with focus and determination when working out. I have made some mistakes in life but like everyone we deserve a second chance. I have utilized my time right, I am currently finishing multiple correspondence courses, to include my third language course, as well as preparing for my release in a few years. You may not be able to tell but I have green eyes and all of my “pearly whites” :). I am mentioning this because my pictures aren’t the best and hard to see. I am also very family orientated. Don’t Be Afraid to Jump!

My name is Chad. I’m writing this with the hope of finding a meaningful and long lasting friendship with someone who is sincere, caring and fun.

Greetings and Blessings!

In less than 200 words, I am going to try and captivate your mind, body and soul. I will not lie to impress you. I will try to elevate who I am to improve my chances in this process.

I am a book you can read and a diary you can hide your secrets, dreams, flaws, and so on without judgment. Me being in prison and you meeting me for the first time over the internet, sometimes, doesn’t allow you to really open and, generally, lose yourself in what you feel and what you need. The deciding factor really will be your family, in one’s ear, telling you all the negative reasons why you should not allow yourself to get caught up with a person who’s going through the new age slavery. In certain men and women, they come into this adventure with motives that compromise one’s thinking and how you move going forward.

Things that I want in a friendship / relationship are just love, legal help, and confidence. No matter what age, race, or background, I am going to listen and try to give you the most sound advice.

But, to give you a formal introduction, my name is Tony Lee Hampton. I am from St. Louis. I love shopping, laughing, and playing sports like basketball and handball, to name a few. I have knowledge about a little of everything. I’m here looking for stability in whatever this may turn into. Some things I dislike are liars, cheaters, and disrespect. They are my deal breakers. ABOUT BATTLECROSS

BattleCross is a new conventional game that transforms any printed crossword puzzle from a one-person activity into a fun and challenging two-player competition. The object of BattleCross is to battle your opponent for the highest score at the completion of the crossword puzzle. BattleCross takes smarts, timing, strategy, alertness and a bit of cunning and combines them all into the skill of solving crossword puzzles. So whether you are new to crosswords or an expert solver, if you enjoy word games and mental sparring then you’ll love BattleCross. Good luck and have fun. For ages 10 and up.

HOW TO PLAY

You can use any standard printed crossword puzzle to play BattleCross. Players share the puzzle and take turns solving clues for points by following the game’s 4 Function and 3 Feature Rules. Each letter in a completed solution is worth one point. Make a double-column score sheet with one player as “x” and the other player as “o”. Players keep each other’s score and not their own. Decide who is going first. Start anywhere you want for the first solution. You can change any letter(s) within your solution during your turn. You must state aloud the clue’s location and your score. After giving your score call “pass” to end your turn. For example, on a typical play you would say “10 across for 5 points… pass.” Scored as, “(10->)5.” After writing the score play then passes to your opponent. Reading aloud the clue and / or stating aloud the solution is optional.

FUNCTION RULES & VIOLATIONS

The 4 Functions of BattleCross are: Commit, Connect, Cluster and Clock. These Function rules must be followed for solving the crossword puzzle. However, there are related Function violations that can be called if you fail to follow a Function rule for a loss of points. You can only call one violation per turn. Violations can be called against your opponent immediately once they happen but must be called before you start play on your turn.

Commit— You must commit your clue before starting your solution by placing either an “x” or an “o” directly next to the number of the clue being solved. Decide who will be which. You can only commit one clue per turn (except when playing a Cluster). Once you write your commit symbol it can’t be undone.

Commit Violation— You can call “Commit Violation” if your opponent:

 

  • Writes even a single letter in the solution before committing the clue;
  • commits the wrong clue;
  • completely fails to commit their clue.
