By a totally random, spontaneous thought, I got the idea to try an outreach program. You could say that I am at a personal crossroads in my life and am looking for something totally different, challenging, and productive to do in my downtime.

Since I could walk and talk, I’ve always been intrigued by the human mind and our behaviors. Never one to judge too quickly, I’m always interested in someone’s story, because we all most certainly have one! Each one of our stories can assist another person’s journey. That’s what makes us all equally important.

I’ve learned in my 46 years of existence that my mother may have been right all along; we’re lucky if we meet a handful of true friends, in our entire lifetimes, who aren’t judgmental, nor have ulterior motives, especially in the world that I live in and that’s why I’m reaching out to the outside.

Admittedly, I have made my share (and more) of mistakes and bad decisions, that I’m sure have been contributing factors to the mental and physical prisons that I find myself currently in, but, I’m determined to hold my head high, to swallow my pride, and to keep a positive attitude. Setting attainable goals is practical and realistic and once achieved, the sense of accomplishment tends to push all of my failures further behind. That’s how I approach life.

Those mistakes forced me to change my life & I’ve worked very hard to do just that, mostly through education. I’ve earned 2 college degrees and am currently earning my welding certification. I’ve also completed many programs and have a file full of certificates and accomplishments, that have helped me grow from a boy, into a man.

I’m being released next year and am interested in meeting someone who’s down-to-earth, who has a sense of humor, who’s intelligent, and who has an open mind. I’m getting out to a brand new world that I know nothing about, so a genuine friend would be incredible! If you enjoy deep conversations with substance and depth, hit me up! I look forward to it!

Hello, so as you guys know, my name is; Jose but my nickname is: Junny – it’s pronounced, like Junior, minus the ‘or.’ I am a very outgoing person, I’d like to try and keep a smile on everyone’s face including mine (except my picture 🙂 ) life is too beautiful and short to be depressed and sad. Especially through these tough times. I’m currently enrolled in school, trying to graduate from cosmetology and I’m also trying to get back into court. Yes I have almost 9 years left to serve, but if I get back in court, I’ll get out sooner. If I find someone to communicate with, I will explain everything, but I can’t right now since it’s about to be an open ease case again. It’s been a while since I have felt the excitement of waiting and wanting to hear from someone you care about. I offer affection, attention and sincerity. I hope whoever’s eye I catch, we’ll be able to meet or exceed each other’s expectations. I’m a scholarly “head” negro that got caught up protecting himself and I will leave it at that for now. I can’t predict the future but whoever reaches out to me is the right person, I don’t see why the wanted outcome can’t come into fruition.
